Bring a four-footed friend and join writer Denis O’Neill and illustrator Cy Quadland outside the library for a reading and discussion of their new picture book, Bradford’s Walk, a story in verse about an energetic dog’s daily walk through Westport. The first ten families to register will receive free copies of the book!
Denis O’Neill is the author of four previously published books- Whiplash: When the Vietnam War Rolled a Hand Grenade into the Animal House, The River Wild, Pandemic Musings, and Canis Dirus. He wrote the screenplay for The River Wild, starring Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon, and A Shot at Glory, an independent feature starring Robert Duvall and Michael Keaton. Mr. O’Neill currently lives in Southern California.
Cyrus Quadland began drawing and painting at an early age, later studying at St. George’s School under the guidance of renowned watercolorist, the late Richard Grosvenor. Cy is a Vietnam veteran and his art currently tours with the Uniting U.S. veterans show. Mr. Quadland currently lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
