Rent Pequot Library’s Auditorium that seats 210 people and is one of the finest meeting rooms anywhere in Fairfield County. The space is soaring and grand, but also warm and welcoming. Part of the original library building, the Auditorium’s architect, Robert H. Robertson, created a room with near-perfect acoustics, making it a premier location for musical performances as well as a wonderful space for both public events such as meetings, workshops, corporate events, lectures, dance classes, and so much more. The library does not rent spaces for private celebrations.Auditorium Dimensions
“The library offers a wide variety of programs for people of all ages and makes good use of its space, both indoors and outdoors.”
The reading rooms, which include the Main Reading Room, May Room, and Rennell Room, offer a more intimate space for smaller groups of up to 50 people. The library’s meticulous restoration of the reading rooms in 2006 won an award for Historic Preservation from the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, and the care that was taken is evident in every part of the room. Three beautifully detailed fireplaces offer a unique backdrop for your gatherings. The reading rooms are available for rental during or after library hours and are ideal for smaller meetings and speaking engagements.Main Reading Room Layout
