In this workshop, participants will experience writing the Elizabethan way by trimming feathers into quills and dipping them into ink to write on parchment, before using quills and ink to explore Shakespeare’s plays–circling words and blotting out others to make new poems out of The Bard’s words. This program is produced in conjunction with our latest exhibition How William Became Shakespeare: Four Hundred Years of the First Folio.
