We warmly welcome all; only Friends of Pequot Library can vote. The business portion of the meeting begins at 4:00 p.m. with an update on the United Illuminating Railroads Transmissions Line Upgrade Project from Fairfield’s First Selectwoman Kupchick.
The business portion of the annual meeting will follow, including reports from the Board President and Director. Board committee reports will be made for the Nominating and Treasurer. We are also updating our by-laws. Next, enjoy a special talk at 5:00 with guest speaker, Wes Haynes. Wes will speak about Pequot Library’s history and architecture. He serves as the Executive Director at the Merritt Parkway Conservancy, a member-supported non-profit organization committed to the preservation, revitalization, and stewardship of one of America’s most scenic and historic automobile roads. Refreshments will be served.
