Come explore the night sky with Mike Francis and his inflatable Starlab planetarium in Pequot Library’s auditorium! Children and families will identify individual stars and constellations in a remarkably realistic night sky projected onto the ceiling of the planetarium dome, and learn how sailors used these celestial objects to chart their courses across the ocean. A Physical Science and Physics teacher, Mike Francis lectured for ten years at the Charles Hayden Planetarium at Boston’s Museum of Science.
Registration is required, with a limit of 30 participants.
