Want to make your own “book beautiful” to publish your art, poems, thoughts, recipes, recommendations, collages, or anything else in a shareable form that’s easy (and cheap) to reproduce? If there is a topic you are passionate about, you can put your voice out there by publishing your own zines: short, DIY magazines that you can make with a photocopier or printer. This zine-making workshop will teach how to plan, craft, and write your own zines that you can put out into the world for people to read and is produced in conjunction with our exhibition, The Book Beautiful: Selections from the Private Press Movement.
For children in grades 3-5. “Find Your Voice” stamp eligible.
