Join award-winning writer André Aciman, author of acclaimed texts such as Call Me by Your Name and Out of Egypt for an enlightening discussion on his themes, process, and inspiration. 

André Aciman was born in Alexandria, Egypt and is an American memoirist, essayist, novelist, and scholar of seventeenth-century literature. He is the New York Times bestselling author of Call Me by Your Name and Find Me as well as of Out of Egypt, Alibis, False Papers, Enigma Variations and Eight White Nights. Homo Irrealis, his new collection of essays, appeared in January 2021. This year, his memoir, A Roman Year, will be published (autumn of 2024). Audible has recently published The Gentleman from Peru (2021), Mariana (2021), and Room on the Sea (2022). Aciman is the director of The Writers’ Institute and is Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature at the Graduate Center, CUNY. He has written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, and The New Republic.
