Your donation to Pequot Library is both an Annual Gift and a membership in the Friends of Pequot Library. When you donate and become a member, your contribution supports the Library in all that it does to serve the community.
Why does Pequot need your Annual Gift and Friends of Pequot Library membership? We’re different than your average library! Though Pequot functions as a town branch library, sharing the computer system and resources with the Fairfield Main and Woods Libraries, we are funded differently. Pequot Library receives approximately 30% of its funding from the Town of Fairfield, with the balance coming from contributions and fundraising events. This means that your Annual Gift is vital to the success of Pequot Library.
Friends of Pequot Library members are an integral part of Pequot’s mission to bring literature, music, art, science, and the humanities to the community.
