Zines are short, do-it-yourself magazines that can be made with a photocopier or printer to publish art, poems, thoughts, recipes, recommendations, collages, or anything else in a shareable form that’s easy (and cheap) to reproduce.

Did you know that Pequot Library has a collection of zines made by children and teen library users? Would you like to create your own to add to our zine library?

Participants in these zine-making workshops will plan, craft, write, and illustrate their own zines to share with friends and family, and add them to Pequot Library’s growing zine collection to be shared with other creators and readers.

For ages 8 and up.

Registration is required, and space is limited.

Registration includes a brief demographic survey that we are conducting to help better serve our community. Answers to demographic questions are optional and will be kept anonymous. Please complete these questions on behalf of the person attending the program/event.
