Introducing the Vindor: A New Digital Woodwind

Discover a new type of musical instrument, the Vindor ES1, with inventor and musician Joel Edinberg. The Vindor is a digital woodwind instrument with its own synthesizer, battery, and speaker. Children ages 5-15 can learn about the Vindor, and then stay for the debut performance of the jazz composition The Library Suite, featuring Edinberg and the Vindor. Free and open to the public. All ages welcome.

This program is part of a larger initiative with the Fairfield Public Library “Jazzed Up! Celebrating Libraries through Music, Art & New Technology” and is offered through State of Connecticut, Department of Economic and Community Development Office of the Arts  Regional Initiative Grant Program (REGI).
