Summer Book Sale
Welcome to Pequot Library’s 64th Annual Summer Book Sale!
One of the largest book sales in New England, the Summer Book Sale draws book lovers from near and far with a selection of over 100,000 items in over 50 categories. The five-day sale is held in large tents on the Great Lawn and parking lot and in the Auditorium and Reading Room of the Library.
Admission is free. All proceeds support Pequot Library’s books, services, programs, and exhibitions for adults and children, serving more than 58,000 participants a year.

Parking
Limited street parking is available around Pequot Library.
Additionally, Trinity Episcopal Church hosts its “Park for Food” drive during the first days of the Summer Book Sale. Park in their lot on the corner of Pequot Avenue and Center Street in exchange for canned food or cash.
