Pequot Library’s Story Mashup Writing Contest: The Wonderland Edition invites young writers to submit stories where modern-day fictional characters meet a beloved character from Alice in Wonderland, like the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, or Alice herself. What happens if Harry Potter meets Alice, or the Mad Hatter meets Nancy Drew? Choose your favorite character from your favorite story and introduce them to someone from Alice in Wonderland.
For ages 9-12.
Registration opens March 1 and is required.
All stories must be 1,000 words or less and submitted no later than March 31.
Prizes in three categories will be given to the winning submissions. Winners announced April 10.
