Elizabeth Chatsworth, author of steampunk-fantasy novel The Brass Queen, will discuss her book and the ins and outs of her genre with writer Gabi Coatsworth.
Elizabeth Chatsworth was born in Sheffield, England, which is the backdrop for her internationally bestselling debut novel, The Brass Queen. She writes of rogues, rebels, and renegades across time and space. The book is set in an alternative, steam-powered Victorian Age and takes readers on an adventure like no other. Elizabeth lives in Connecticut with her husband and a rambunctious Yorkshire terrier, Boo, who also features as a character in the book.
Gabi Coatsworth is an award-winning British-born writer and blogger. She’s active in the Connecticut writing community and runs several groups for writers, including a weekly write-in for the Pequot Library. Her essays, short fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have been published in anthologies and literary journals, both in print and online. She enjoys encouraging other writers, long walks, and drinking endless cups of very strong English Breakfast tea.
