Gobble: The Quintessential Thanksgiving Playbook is the debut book from Litchfield Hills resident Nadine Isacs and her sons PK and Christopher, who host an elaborate Thanksgiving celebration for their family and friends every year. Inspired to write the book after the sudden death of their husband/father Peter in August 2020 as a way of celebrating a favorite holiday, the Isacs family created a comprehensive, all-in-one guide for all things Thanksgiving — from cooking and table setting to group games, cleanup, and more. Gobble is not only an ode to their own traditions, but an inspiring roadmap for any individual or family to bring something new to their own Thanksgiving celebration.
The Isacs will be in conversation with Scott Green.
Scott Green spent his career in International corporate marketing, running many well known Spirits and wine brands, including Grand Marnier Liqueur from Paris, Château de Sancerre from the Loire and Lapostolle Wines from Chile. His travels permitted him to dine in some of the best restaurants around the world as well as exploring Street food in Mexico, Hong Kong and throughout Central and South America. More recently, his love of great food, wine, spirits and entertaining, led him to found Fox Pond Farm Catering and Events as well as opening the Boathouse Restaurant on the Saugatuck River in Westport, CT.
