Pequot Library and Unquowa School are partnering to offer a fun-filled program for 3-5 year olds, over four Fridays, about the food we eat.

Unquowa’s Environmental Teacher, Assistant Chef, and PreK Teacher will each lead a class. Classes include a story read by a Pequot librarian, an activity and food tasting. All food is nut free but may include dairy or gluten products.

Classes will be held at The Unquowa School, 981 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Caregivers are required to remain in the classroom during the program, however siblings cannot be accommodated. Free and open to the public.

Registration is below. It is limited to 8 children per class. Separate registration required for each class. 

Classes are on the following Fridays from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Stages of a Green Bean — May 11th
Plants That Feed Me — May 18th
Where Does Salsa Come From? — May 25th
From Wheat Seed to Fresh Baked Bread — June 1st
