Joni us on the Pequot Library front lawn for a Foundation Training session with Austin Maggiolo a certified Foundation Training instructor and Sacred Heart University Exercise Science Graduate. All you will need to bring is water and a mat.
Foundation Training is a series of exercises that are designed to strengthen our bodies natural movement patterns. These exercises teach us how to move our body effectively and build it up rather than the constant break down our modern lives create. FT uses breath, muscle activating poses, and smooth movements to teach our bodies how to increase resilience and reduce pain.
Whether you have back pain/don’t want back pain, want to enhance athletic performance, or even just feel better overall, Foundation Training can help. With Foundation Training, we do not treat injuries. We teach your body to move efficiently, powerfully, and in balance so that injuries due to mechanical imbalances and weaknesses fall by the wayside.
