Enjoy an up close and personal experience with Pequot’s Special Collections of rare books, manuscripts, and archives.

Hear George Miles, Curator of the Western Americana Collection at The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University, as he discusses a selection of items featured in the Living in the New World exhibition. Free and open to the public.

Pequot Library’s Special Collections is comprised of over 30,000 items that reflect the founders’ interest in Early Americana, nature, science, literature, and the arts.  It offers patrons a wide selection of primary source material for research and learning, and provides the foundation for the public programs hosted by the library.
