For the anniversary of the Pequot Library’s founding, join historian Wes Haynes in a talk about the history of Connecticut’s varied and rich libraries. Wes pays special attention to the detailed and intriguing history of our beautiful building, while also offering descriptions of other cultural gems in Fairfield County.

Wes Haynes is Executive Director at the Merritt Parkway Conservancy, a member-supported non- profit organization committed to the preservation, revitalization, and stewardship of one of America’s most scenic and historic automobile roads. He holds an M.A. in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and previously worked at the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation.
