After being inspired by the remarkable women in our [Her]story exhibition, children ages 7+ have an opportunity to motivate their future selves by writing a “Dear Me” letter and entering that letter into our Dear Me Writing Contest. Is there anything important you need to tell your future self? Dig deep and write it all down. Participants register in three age categories: 7-9, 10-12, and 13+. Each age group will receive a list of prompts to help form their submission. Your entry should be no more than 1,000 words and must be submitted to childrens@pequotlibrary.org by April 15. Winners announced on April 30. Happy writing!
