There are several zoning and housing bills being debated by our legislators in Hartford that will impact the Fairfield and Southport community. CT169Strong, a grassroots non-partisan group studying the bills and educating the public on the proposals will be speaking at the Pequot Library on Saturday, April 22 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The panel includes Fairfield State Sen. Tony Hwang, Fairfield Town Plan & Zoning Commissioner and Environmental Attorney, Kathryn Braun, CT169Strong co-founder Maria Weingartern and former Fairfield Town Planner, Barry Michelson. The event will be moderated by Fairfield TPZ Commissioner and CT169Strong co-founder, Alexis Harrison. All are welcome to listen, learn and engage on important land-use and zoning issues.
