Paulette Rosen from the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven will talk about the wide variety of bookbinding structures, both traditional and non-traditional, and how they are made. There will be many samples for participants to handle and examine. She will also demonstrate the basic sewing of book signatures with plenty of time for questions.

About Paulette Rosen
Paulette Rosen has been teaching book arts and box making for 25 years and heads the Book Arts Department at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven. Also an artist, she has exhibited widely throughout the Northeast and her artist’s books are part of several collections, including the Watkinson Library at Trinity College and the Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library at Yale University.
