Start your holiday shopping at our annual Black Friday/Saturday Book Sale! Enjoy a selection of thousands of books and media items in “like new” and “gently used” condition, ideal for gift-giving.

Saturday, November 26, 2022 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Admission is free, and all items are priced as marked. All Sale proceeds support Pequot Library’s annual programs for adults and children, serving thousands of participants a year.
This year, thanks to the generosity of a long-time neighborhood supporter of the Library, we will be offering 500 award-winning first edition/ first printing classics. Most are identified on labels affixed to mylar covers with the year and the specific award (e.g., Booker Prize, Pulitzer Prize, etc.) and some are also signed by the authors. And for those who can still get excited about cooking after a day of over-eating, we will be offering a large number of like-new cook books (many multiple copies, in case you’re interested in giving the same title to several friends), each at a celebratory price of $2.
