What does it take to create art? What does it take to be successful? Join us for an evening with artist and The Studio at Mack & Ro owner Jen Scully as she discusses the impact of her coastal New England roots in the creation of art. Using a favorite piece from her collection, Jen will dive deep into her process explaining inspiration, imagery, color choice and technique that often employs palette knife, rollers, taper and her own hands.
Jen Scully studied fine art and graphic design at Boston University while achieving a degree in psychology. She then went on to attain a master’s degree in art therapy at Lesley University. In January, Jen opened The Studio at Mack & Ro in the heart of Black Rock with Jessica Sokol and Lauren Daley. The Studio offers original art, wallpaper, and products all designed by Jen with her signature coastal laid back vibe. Specialty signature cocktail sponsored by Broken Shed Vodka and light refreshments.
