Gabi Coatsworth, local author of Love’s Journey Home, will be selling and signing copies of her book on July 22 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Be sure to stop by, say hello, and check out her memoir.
Coatsworth is an award-winning British-born writer and blogger who has spent half her life living in the United States. A member of several national writing associations, she’s active in the Connecticut writing community and runs several groups for writers. Her essays, short fiction, and poetry have been published in anthologies and literary journals, both in print and online.
Love’s Journey Home is gripping story about star-crossed lovers, a memoir that concerns itself with the trials and triumphs of years-long relationships and the true meaning of connection. Click here for more info!
Ridgefield-based author Chris Belden’s novel Shriver has been made into a movie starring Kate Hudson, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, and Zach Braff, to be released this year. He’ll appear on July 23 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
His work has appeared in numerous publications, including American Fiction, SN Review, and Skidrow Penthouse. He is coauthor of the feature film Amnesia, and has also written extensively for the stage. He teaches at Westport Writers’ Workshop and has taught at Fairfield University, as well as at such nontraditional venues as senior centers, soup kitchens, and a maximum-security prison.
