Pequot Library is home to a significant collection of 19th Century Periodicals, each volume in the original book format. Collection highlights include Harper’s Weekly (including Winslow Homer’s engravings), Scientific American, and Scientific American Architects and Builders editions.

Currently, this collection is unavailable. It is housed off-site, awaiting its new home in the Special Collections Center, part of the upcoming library addition.
