Please Note: The Connecticut State Library has changed its research database from iCONN to researchIT CT. The new site is more 'user-friendly' than the previous database and should be even more helpful for researchers.

researchit researchIT CT is a good place to start!

researchIT is a collection of information resources offered free of charge to residents by the State of Connecticut. These resources include articles on a wide range of subjects, company information, and access to Connecticut’s statewide library catalog. researchIT is part of the Connecticut Education Network. It provides all students, faculty and residents with online access to essential library and information resources.  It is administered by the Connecticut State Library in conjunction with the Department of Higher Education. Through researchIT, a core level of information resources including secured access to licensed databases is available to every citizen in Connecticut.

To search researchIT, click on the link. This takes you to the homepage with two search options. Another way to search is to choose 'Search Individual Resources' on the left. This is a good way to explore what is available.
