Adelaide Mandeville and Tre Cassetta - Photographic Works January 26, 2013 through March 31, 2013
Exhibit Reception: Saturday, January 26, 2013 4:00 to 6:00 pm
Adelaide Mandeville (b. 1989) graduated in 2012 from Brown University with honors in Religious Studies. She grew up in Black Rock and attended Greens Farms Academy K-12. Her high school photo classes fostered her photographic work and she received awards for her photography from GFA. Adelaide's most significant education relevant to this exhibition was a childhood spent in the house of her mother, local artist Olivia Munroe. Adelaide's work ranges from traditional b/w prints to digital photographic collages. She is currently an intern at Intelligence Squared.

Tre Cassetta (b. 1985) is a New York City based artist and photographer. He graduated from Staples High School and earned his BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design, 2009. Tre went on to apprentice for some of the most distinguished photographers in the commercial and fashion industries, including Gilles Bensimon and Bruce Weber. A self-described documentarian, Tre relentlessly documents his life and experiences. His photographs have been shown in Rhode Island and New York City. Works in this show will be black and white prints from a trip to Fire Island. |
