Pequot Library is excited to bring back a beloved community event, Pequot Presents: The Oscars. Gather in the library’s historic auditorium to view all of the Academy Award Best Picture nominees prior to the Academy Awards on March 10th. 

While not formally announced yet, top contenders include: Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy and directed by Christopher Nolan; Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and directed by Greta Gerwig; Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro, and Lily Gladstone and directed by Martin Scorcese; Maestro, starring Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan and directed by Bradley Cooper; The Holdovers, starring Paul Giamatti and directed by Alexander Payne; American Fiction, starring Jeffrey Wright and directed by Cord Jefferson; Poor Things, starring Emma Stone and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.

Please check the Library’s website and social media for updated listings and showtimes. While this film series is free and open to the public, it is helpful to RSVP. 

The first film to be screened on Jan. 17 will be Oppenheimer.
