Preview Party Fundraiser: 20th Annual Art Show: The Story of Art

Fundraiser includes:
Full bar, hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, modern dance, VIP tour, harp music, fine art viewing, and mingling with the party-goers!

5:00pm: Philip Eliasoph leads the "VIP" exhibition tour.
Philip Eliasoph is a professor in the Visual and Performing Arts school at Fairfield University. He is a public arts advocate, serving by appointment of the Governor on the Commissioner for the State of Connecticut's Arts Division, and was the founding co-president of the Town of Fairfield Arts Council.

Rebecca Swett will be playing the harp as guests enter.
She performed in a recital hall at Carnegie Hall and has released 7 CDs which include Classical, Popular, Christmas, Celtic, and Relaxing musical selections. She performs in numerous concerts in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

A Different Drum will be dancing throughout the evening:
Founded at Yale in 1996, A Different Drum Dance Company (ADD) has dedicated itself to providing a place for a diverse group of dancers to sharpen and broaden their technical abilities and to develop artistically both as dancers and as choreographers. Beginning with its debut performance in February 1997, ADD has continued to draw large audiences to its biannual performances. Members of the company are committed to constantly challenging and pushing ourselves to grow and expand our boundaries.

In honor of the 20th year of Pequot Library's Art Show jurors will select the Top 20 works of art. 

Proceeds from sales in this fundraiser will be shared by the artists and Pequot Library. This exhibition and sale support the educational programs and events at Pequot Library.
