  • A Literal Reprint of the Bay Psalm Book, 1862
  • Common Sense by Thomas Paine, 1776
  • Flowers from my Garden by Laura Gordon Munson, 1864, with a handwritten inscription from P. T. Barnum to his wife
  • White Fang by Jack London, 1906

Displayed on the walls are prints of scanned original illustrations and wood-cut prints including Rockwell Kent's Moby Dick, 1930; Clare Leighton's Four Hedges A Gardener's Chronicle, 1935; and Barry Moser's Huckleberry Finn, 1985.

Prints from John Gould's A Monograph of the Trochilidae or Hummingbirds, 1849-1861 are on display.

Two free programs complement the 125th exhibition:

  • Treasures in Your Attic: Book Talk and Appraisal by Kenneth Gloss on May 8, at 5:30pm - Gloss will talk about collecting rare books and ephemera, ending with a free appraisal of books that participants bring.
