Admission is free. All Sale proceeds support Pequot Library's programs for adults and children, serving over 50,000 participants a year.

  • Most books chosen for their suitability for holiday gift-giving
  • Many new items; most others are gently-used  -- ideal for gifting
  • Hundreds of new CDs and DVDs, still factory-sealed and shrink-wrapped
  • Cozy Book Sale, come to relax, browse and buy, with plenty of free parking

Mid-Winter Book Sale 2018

The annual Mid-Winter Book Sale is the little sister of the Library’s nationally known Summer Book Sale. The Mid-Winter Sale is smaller but more intimate with many treasures and bargains to be had.

There is no admission charge for the sale and all proceeds benefit Pequot Library's services and programs plus provide the town with affordable books, CDs, DVDs, and LPs.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame brilliant pianist, Mark Naftalin, and his talented friends will perform live at the Book Sale.
