The Perkin Gallery's intimate charm, manageable space, and warmly inviting atmosphere offered a perfect venue for "Paula Eliasoph: Re-discovering a Post-Impressionist." Knowing how she valued books, learning and the interdisciplinary nature of the literary and visual arts, this tribute to my grandmother's artwork found a natural setting at the Pequot Library. Upholding its Mission as an inviting home for literature, knowledge, music, and art, it serves the community in countless ways - enriching all of us with what really matters.

We hosted my three-year-old daughter's birthday party at Pequot Library and it was one we will always remember! We chose one of her favorite storybooks as the theme, Wizard of Oz. A library staff member helped bring it to life for the group of toddlers in attendance. They sang songs, nursery rhymes and read stories. They also organized a craft and let the children pet Belle the Bunny during circle time. It was easy, relaxed and fun for all. A great value in a unique setting. I highly recommend it.

The Pequot Library Auditorium was the ideal space for our fundraising event. The room is beautiful and elegant but also very flexible. We were able to decorate the space to fit our organization, and even project images from our projects on several large screens. The effect was an impactful combination of the historic and the modern. And the library staff were always helpful and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to hosting our next event at the Pequot Library

Since the year 2000, Music for Youth has been presenting its series of FREE Young Persons’ Concerts, which take place once a month on Saturday afternoons from September through April, in the Recital Hall of Pequot Library. The Recital Hall is the perfect venue for these concerts. It offers a welcoming atmosphere. It is just the right size. It has splendid acoustics. And it offers the performers a marvelous historic Steinway concert grand piano. International artists and winners of prestigious competitions who regularly perform for Music for Youth are always more than pleased with the venue.
